# Add URLert to your AI assistant

Then, when a message looks off, paste it into your chat and ask: “URLert, is this a scam?”

## Before you connect

- **It signs in to URLert as you.** It can check messages and links, and read your results. It can't delete a check or your account.
- **We get only what it sends us to check.** The message, link or page. Not the rest of your chat.
- **Up to 20 checks a day.** For each account, however many assistants you connect.
- **Each check is deleted after 30 days.**
- **You can disconnect it any time.** On URLert: Account, then AI agents, then Disconnect.

Add it as a connector in your assistant's settings. It may be called an app, a plugin or an MCP server. When it asks, sign in to URLert or make a free account.
