# Check any link or message before you act.

## What we do

1. **We read the message.** Who it says it's from, and what it wants you to do.
2. **We open the link on a phone and a computer.** You see pictures of what we saw, so you don't have to open it.
3. **We check the website's address.** How old it is, and whether it's on the scam lists we check.

When we find nothing wrong, we say exactly that, and what we checked.

We don't say “safe”, because no check can promise that.
