URLert provides a service that scans URLs for potential malicious content. Users can submit URLs through the Site for analysis. While basic scanning is available without an account, certain features require registration.
2. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service:
- To scan URLs for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- To violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- To infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- To transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.
- To overload, flood, spam, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
- To resell or redistribute the Service without express written permission from URLert.
- For any purpose that, in URLert's sole discretion, that is objectionable.
4. Intellectual Property & Data Rights
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality remain the exclusive property of URLert and its licensors. The threat intelligence, scan results, API responses, and analytics generated by the Service ("URLert Data") are proprietary.
Commercial Use Restrictions
You agree NOT to use URLert Data for any commercial purpose without a specific commercial license or appropriate API subscription. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Building competing products or services.
- Training machine learning models or AI systems.
- Reselling, licensing, or redistributing the data to third parties.
- Systematically scraping or harvesting data for commercial databases.
Commercial Access
For commercial use, bulk access, or integration rights, you must use our official API subject to its commercial terms or contact us to discuss a partnership agreement.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. URLert disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. URLert does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. URLert does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the results obtained from using the service. You use the service at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, URLert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (c) any content obtained from the service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall URLert's aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service exceed the amount you paid to URLert, if any, in the past twelve months for the service.
7. Termination
URLert may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
8. Changes to These Terms
URLert reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
