Welcome to URLert! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the URLert website (the "Site") referred to as the "Service."

1. Service Description

URLert provides a service that scans URLs for potential malicious content. Users can submit URLs through the Site for analysis without creating an account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

  • To scan URLs for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • To violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • To infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • To transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.
  • To overload, flood, spam, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • To resell or redistribute the Service without express written permission from URLert.
  • For any purpose that, in URLert's sole discretion, that is objectionable.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. URLert disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. URLert does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. URLert does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the results obtained from using the service. You use the service at your own risk.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, URLert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (c) any content obtained from the service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall URLert's aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service exceed the amount you paid to URLert, if any, in the past twelve months for the service.

5. Termination

URLert may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

6. Changes to These Terms

URLert reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
